2/11/26 Conditions Report

10:00 Conditions Update:

The man-made blizzard is paying dividends for conditions this morning! It is always impressive to experience what a couple days of intense snowmaking can do for our groomed runs. Snow guns ran across all of Sunspot and Tumwater last night and many remain on blast as the morning gets going. Corduroy is crisp and consistent, and in many places, a thin and surfy layer of man-made powder is lying atop the surface. It’s a great morning to toss up some big sprays in select zones while digging your edges into some smooth carves elsewhere. For the cleanest groomers, ride Sunspot and Mimi, while significant sections of Tumwater are piling up soft mounds with active snowmaking output. While terrain is limited, it’s real good out there on the groomed runs. Ungroomed areas on the other hand remain firm and variable in coverage. The sun is out and temps are staying cool for the moment, so come get it while it’s good and fresh! We will see you up here.

6:30 Conditions Report:

Good morning skiers!

We’re starting the day again in a man-made snowstorm. I reckon our snowpack is as thankful for our snowmakers as we are as the on-piste conditions get an overnight refresh with that sugary manufactured snow. We’re currently pretty chilly up here but temperatures are forecast to warm up a little as the day progresses. Expect softer surfaces to start the day, with the chance of some springlike conditions developing as we transition into the afternoon. We are supposed to get lots of sun with very few clouds, which is great news for anyone trying to catch a sunset as tonight is the first night of our long run of Night Skiing this week. This sun is going to cause some warming and potential softening so we might see some surfy snow in Fun Park or below Midway in the afternoon.

See you on the mountain!
