Chair 4 is now open.

11:00 Operations Update:

Chair 4 is currently on a mechanical hold. We will continue to update regarding the status of Chair 4 for the remainder of the day.

10:00 Conditions Update:

Guns are blazing in the Fun Park and Sunspot today while the rest of the mountain enjoys tranquil conditions perfect for some morning cruising. Groomers are generally in good shape to start the day, with the smoothest ride on Mimi and the softest snow on Sunspot. Tumwater has decent groomed conditions as well but with a few more chunky patches than the upper and lower slopes. The snowmaking crew is out and about monitoring the guns as temperatures begin to edge toward that freezing level, and be sure to give them a shout if you see them. It’s really thanks to this crew that we’ve seen conditions heading back in a positive direction over the past several days. Today, you might be able to slash your way through a little man-made ‘pow’ in the Fun Park, and the sugary groomed conditions elsewhere on the mountain are definitely reaping the benefits of some consistent snowmaking this week. If you do venture into any ungroomed territory today, be prepared for a chattery and bumpy ride though. Sticking to the groomers is gonna be your best best for smooth sailing today. We’ll see you on the mountain!

6:30 Conditions Report:

Good morning skiers!

We are scheduled for another sunny and mild day today, with balmy temperatures and the cloud cover set to move out of the sky throughout the day. Our snowmakers are blowing snow near the summit. Expect some sugary manufactured snow on top of the Sunspot, with nearby areas having a little more structure to them. We had some above freezing temperatures at lower elevations yesterday and below freezing temperatures overnight so it stands to reason we will see some firmer snow lower down as we start the day. As the sun come up, temperatures are expected to rise and the sun should come out so we could see some springlike softening across the mountain but especially in areas of sun exposure and at lower elevations.

See you on the mountain!
