Snowboarder making turn on Tumwater run at Mission Ridge.

2/12 Conditions Report

10am Update: Silky smooth. That is the best way to describe the groomed runs first thing this morning! The 1″ of new snow we received overnight sits on top of finely groomed runs, making for very enjoyable turns. Conditions off-piste (non-groomed runs) range from areas of soft snow to other areas with firm conditions and low coverage in places. A bit of a storm has rolled in this morning, with snow flurries and gusty winds at the summit. It feels a bit cooler on the upper mountain than it has the past several days, so add a layer and head out for a fun cruiser day.

Early Morning Report: We’ve received 1″ of new snow overnight, which should mix well with the groomed runs this morning. We enjoyed some excellent groomed conditions yesterday and are looking forward to more of the same today. Sticking to the groomed runs will be the best choice for the smoothest and most consistent turns as conditions off-piste (non-groomed runs) will be variable and range from areas of soft snow to other areas with firm conditions and low coverage in places. The forecast is calling for some sightings of the sun, comfy temps, and light winds to kick off the new week.
