Ski and snowboard tracks over freshly groomed snow

2/13/26 Night Conditions Report

4:00pm Conditions Report:

Flurries in the air are ushering in the start of the long weekend! Cloudy skies have been hinting at snow for several hours, and flakes could continue on and off throughout the night riding period, with up to an inch of new accumulation possible at the summit. Any new snow will be falling upon variable conditions. Snow surfaces have stayed dry today with temps in the 20s on the upper mountain and 30s lower down, but minimal direct sun exposure. We are seeing loose, dry snow floating atop a firm base layer. The softest conditions will be found along the edges of runs, where skier traffic has been piling it up throughout the day. Meanwhile, some steep pitches have been scraped off down to hardpack base; look for less-trafficked areas to maintain more consistent conditions, such as Chair 4 terrain. If all goes well, we’ll see some snow showers adding a bit more soft stuff to the mix as the night goes on.

If you find yourself indoors this evening, the Midway Lodge is your place to be. We’re hosting a buffet (main course of chicken pesto pasta) from 5:30-7 in addition to Bingo Night during the same window. Come play for one or more rounds if you’re feeling lucky! We’ll see you on the mountain.
