2/19/26 Conditions Report

10:00 Conditions Update:

Groomed runs are about as good as they get this morning! The grooming team has taken our new snow and worked it into some deliciously smooth corduroy that slices like butter underfoot. Since our storm on Monday, we’ve gotten a trace on natural snow each day and had consistent snowmaking, leaving us with a lot to be excited about out there. Flakes are falling lightly but steadily as we speak and could hopefully add up to an inch or two over the course of the day. Soft snow should persist on groomers well into the afternoon if this keeps up, so it’s not too late to enjoy some of the goods! In ungroomed areas, terrain is mostly tracked out and conditions are variable. There are definitely soft spots of mostly-packed powder to be found, but there are also firm spots and areas of thin cover. We are currently enshrouded in thin clouds, leaving moderate visibility across the mountain. Temps are chilly and snow is falling hard under the snow guns, so be ready for winter while you’re up here!

6:30 Conditions Report:

Good morning skiers!

We are expected to get a little cold today… And oh, yeah, we’re supposed to get a little snow.

Snowfall is anticipated to start before we open and continue into the afternoon. It actually appears that we may have some natch coming down already at the summit just a little bit ahead of schedule. Hopefully we will accumulate a little bit as the day progresses and unlock that infinite freshies glitch again, where the snow filled in your tracks behind you. Our snowmakers were keeping busy overnight to bolster the snowpack and I hope we retain the crisp and consistent quality we’ve been holding onto due to the snowfall earlier this week and the cold temps preserving the snow. Expect some spray-worthy groomers to start the day with some snowfall to enhance it during the day.

Line of sight visibility appears to be currently good across the mountain but it’s a bit foggy so if you look up as you ski, you will see some clouds. This fog could descend as we warm up into daytime temperatures. Speaking of- ambient temps are forecast to get chilly and the wind chill could drop to -1F, so bundle up, cover up, and take some breaks to warm up in Midway Lodge or Hampton Lodge. Dress for success in proper layers because today is a day you don’t want to miss.

See you on the mountain!
