Ski and snowboard tracks over freshly groomed snow

2/19/26 Night Conditions Report

4:00pm Conditions Report:

Yesterday’s nighttime conditions were among the best we’ve had this season, and I’m expecting a similar trend today. Consistent light snowfall over the past few days, combined with active snowmaking, have kept conditions fresh. Throughout the day today, we had intermittent snow showers that added another dusting on top of last night’s trace of new snow. Heading into the evening, there are lots of areas of soft, loose, dry snow on the runs that were groomed this morning. This will provide some playful conditions that often feel soft and forgiving underfoot. However, keep in mind that hardpack does underly the soft snow and has gotten exposed in some places, especially on steeper slopes. Snow surfaces will be variable! Ungroomed areas also have variable conditions, with some soft snow remaining and other areas having firm surfaces or areas of thin cover. Snow guns remain active in places and will continue to pump out snow. Parts of Mimi could feel almost powdery by the end of the night.

It is gonna be a chilly one tonight! Wind chills could drop below zero at the summit by the end of the night skiing hours, so dress warm and take breaks if needed! The Hampton Lodge will be nice and cozy tonight, and we’ll have Best Day and Coors as our Thursday Night visiting breweries. We’ll see you on the mountain!
