A young skier in a fast tuck

2/26/26 Conditions Report

10:00 Conditions Update:

We have some wonderful grooming and some challenging light conditions up top.

It is a tad windy which adds to a bit of the chill, just keep that Chair 2 bubble down and keep moving, there will be plenty of fun for all. The snow is consistent, chalky, soft, and a ton of fun on piste! Plenty of room out there on the slopes, and Chair 1 is illuminated gloriously by our friend the sun. There is not a ton of fresh snow, use caution should you choose to venture off piste due to the low coverage and variable conditions!  Have fun out there!

6:30 Conditions Report:

Good morning skiers!

We are gearing up for another playful day at The Ridge today with some sun and comfortable temperatures forecast to dominate the mountain. We’re seeing colder, drier conditions at the summit and something a little more cohesive at the base. It could get a little windy today, especially at the summit where that wind could cause some movement of any unpacked snow. Not really an issue on-piste but this could lead to a recycled pow day off-piste if you’re into that sort of thing. Variable conditions and thin coverage exists, so ride with caution.

Expect some smooth groomers again today as we have our grooming team out taming the slopes today for everyone to enjoy. The new snow should be holding up better at the summit, where the cooler temps are allowing the slopes to stay a bit fresher. As snow fell a little wetter at the base, we could see slightly firmer conditions. In areas of high traffic, we could see some scraping to something firm, especially on Tumwater which is our popular run. Look to recently opened terrain and lower elevation terrain for the best conditions

See you on the mountain!
