2/27/25 Conditions Report

10:00 Conditions Update: It feels like spring today, with warm temperatures and bright blue skies making for an incredibly pleasant skiing experience. Groomed runs are in good condition for some cheery cruising, with velvety corduroy turning softer as it gets tracked out and the day warms up. Off-piste areas are already beginning to soften, so the bumps should be a lot of fun by this afternoon. Head for sheltered northerly aspects if you’re looking to a couple turns in the leftovers from the storm earlier this week. We’re looking forward to a great day and an even better evening, with a sunset on the cards and lifts spinning till 9!

6:30 Conditions Report: Good morning! We’re ready for a beautiful sunny day on The Ridge this morning, with the first orange glow already hitting the eastern horizon over the valley. We’re expecting a taste of spring today, with warm temperatures and blue skies throughout the day. We can expect some smooth corduroy on the groomers to start the day, though it’s likely to soften pretty quickly in sunny areas, especially on south-facing aspects and at lower elevations. Off-piste, conditions will be variable, with a dynamic start to the week bringing us 7 inches of new snow at the summit, but also plenty of wind and a range of temperatures. The base will start the day firm, though it will likely soften in the sun over time. A few stashes of untracked snow do remain if you know where to look, primarily of denser quality following warm temperatures and wind effects. We’re looking forward to a day of exploration, and we’ll be open till 9pm for our last Thursday of night skiing of the 24/25 season. It’ll be a great night to come up and catch a glorious sunset after work!

See you on the mountain!
