10:00 Conditions Update: Flakes fall serenely over the fresh, smooth corduroy. Conditions are currently calm across the mountain and our trails are thankful for the new snow. Off-piste conditions are steadily improving- today, there’s a thick layer of powder on top but it’s lower density snow and you can feel the base beneath the fresh. Take care to feel out your tracks before committing to your line. Chairs are spinning across the mountain and lift lines are non-existent, and it’s the perfect time for some sweet turns and stacked vert!
6:30 Conditions Report: Anticipation builds during drive up to the mountain today after seeing the blanket of powder that lies across the valley. A similar dusting has fallen over the resort overnight, with more predicted to refresh the trails as we ski today. Expect conditions similar to yesterday, with some wind chill and some clouds over fresh snow and soft groomers. It’s going to get cold today, so make sure to layer well and cover all exposed skin, and take breaks to rewarm at Midway Lodge or Hampton Lodge at the base.
There’s plenty of fresh to go around, so come up to The Ridge and find something to spray!
