2/5/26 Night Conditions Report

4:00pm Conditions Report:

A day of balmy temps, partial sun, and spring conditions is heading into the evening with 5 hours of skiing and riding still before us! Soft and heavy spring conditions are the norm at the moment, with some areas (like the top pitch of Sunspot and the top of Tumwater 2) getting scraped off toward hardpack in places. The valley clouds are just starting to clear out, leaving us with some fantastic views back down into the valley as the sun gets ready to set. With partially clear skies, the snow will start radiating heat back into the atmosphere as the sun sets, which will result in a firming trend. We’ll see the stickier conditions easing up and eventually it could end up on the chattery side by the end of the night.

Thursday Night Drags racers are back in action tonight on Mimi, and they’ll be headed into the lodge afterwards. Anyone is welcome to join the fun inside, which includes a raffle and tastings from Icicle Brewing and Yonder Cider. Come join us for some spring-style skiing, great views, and good vibes both on the slopes and in the lodge! We’ll see you on the mountain.
