4:00pm Conditions Report:Â
Happy Friday from The Ridge! Blue skies and balmy temperatures have us feeling energized as we head into the weekend after a day of spring-like skiing and riding. As the sun dips behind the summit ridge, the snow remains soft, heavy, and corny for now, but will begin to firm up as the evening progresses. Conditions are variable from a day of traffic, so expect some loose piles to have stacked up in areas, while some spots have been scraped down to firm hardpack. The most consistent snow conditions will be in less-travelled areas such as Lower Sitkum and Lower Chak Chak. If you’re joining us for the first time this week, take a moment to check out 100Laps, which is now open! Otherwise, we’re looking forward to some scenic laps on Chair 2 as the sun sets behind us. If it’s anything like the last few sunsets, it should be a brilliant one! It’ll dip below the horizon right around 5:11.
We are also hosting Bingo Night in Midway Lodge starting at 5:30. 5 rounds, 2 cards per player. Stop by for one game or play the whole time over dinner and drinks! Either way, you’ll have the chance to nab some cool prizes and enjoy a fun, family-friendly Friday night. We will see you on the mountain!
