Spring officially began on March 20th, and we’ve definitely been feeling it on the mountain this past week.
Our Grooming Team has been doing an incredible job making the most of the conditions, serving up some really fun turns over the past several days. And none of it would be possible without the dedication of our Snowmaking Team, whose work throughout the season built the foundation that’s still letting us enjoy quality conditions this late into March. But as we head through the end of March and look ahead to the April forecast, it’s clear that the season is nearing its final stretch.
With that in mind, we’re setting our sights on a strong finish. Mission Ridge’s final day of the season will be Sunday, April 5.
We’ll be taking a short pause Monday through Friday this coming week to preserve the snowpack and put all of our focus into making closing weekend the best it can be.
Closing Weekend | April 4–5
We’re putting everything into a fun, community-focused sendoff. The lifts will spin from 9-4 each day, and we’ve stacked up an awesome lineup of end-of-season events to enjoy in between laps.

To preserve as much terrain and snow coverage as possible for closing weekend, and with uncertainty around having enough snow to build the kind of jump this event deserves, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel Dummy Downhill this year.
As we head into closing weekend, we want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who spent time with us on the mountain this season. Whether you joined us once or made Mission Ridge your winter home, your support means a great deal to our team.
We also want to recognize our staff, whose hard work, adaptability, and commitment throughout a challenging season made it possible to keep the mountain turning and provide the best experience possible for our guests.
Let’s finish strong and go out in style – Flamingo style!
