10:00 AM Update:Â Now that the sun has fully crested the Lunar Cliffs and kissed Castle Peak, the shamrocks are out dancing and the basin is beginning to warm up. Those corduroy runs are rolling nice and soft mid-morning! Currently, the temperature in the base area is 42 with a mild 6mph breezing NE at the summit. Today is a perfect day to tour those blue runs across the mountain!
Early morning Report: We are waking up to golden rays of sunshine on the mountain for St. Paddy’s Day. Our grooming team has supplied us with fresh corduroy overnight, so we can expect snow surfaces to be firm to start the day, softening up as the morning progresses. We are looking forward to warmer temps with a high around 59, so ditch the jacket and enjoy your morning runs in your favorite green flannel!
Pepsi’s Tour de Blues continues today, so make sure you pick up your punch cards in Reception if you haven’t.
Skookum will remain closed as The Apple Cup race series continues, as well.
