Good morning skiers and snowboarders!
As mentioned earlier, Chair 1, Chair 4 to midway, 100 Laps rope tow and the magic carpet are scheduled to operate today. Despite the limited operations, you can expect plenty of personal space out on the slopes today!
There is some moderate rain falling, so remember that Gore Tex today. Conditions on our groomed runs are variable, ranging soft corduroy, PNW spring corn, blue and firm areas that require some sharper edges as well as some bare spots on Sitkum. Visibility is fair, and the light is flat, so, as always, please ski and ride with caution, today.
6:30 Conditions Report:
Good morning skiers and snowboarders!
Chair 1, Chair 4 to midway, 100 Laps rope tow and the magic carpet are scheduled to operate today. Chair 2 and Chair 3 will not be operating, so access to off piste terrain will be limited. The Upper Basin remains closed due to increasing avalanche risk following the sustained warm temperatures earlier this week. Chair 2 will reopen when conditions permit, while Chair 3 will remain closed for maintenance through the weekend. Pika Peak rope tow is closed.
Today we’re looking at a 50 percent chance of rain, with cloudy skies and temps around 38, but overall precipitation should stay light.
The upside is the snow is staying soft, and soft snow is where it is at. Think playful turns, slashy sides, and that smooth spring feel under your board or skis.
Even with reduced operations, there is still plenty of terrain to spread out and have some fun. Open runs include Castle, Lomax, Siktum, Lower Chak Chak, and Mimi, along with 100Laps Park and Lil Bombers Park.
Grooming will be limited today after a warm night with temps staying above 40 across all elevations. When it stays that warm, it is tough for crews to get out there without doing more harm than good, so we are letting the snow settle and set up naturally.

System Upgrade Now Live – New RFID Cards Required
We’re upgrading Mission Ridge’s ticketing and pass systems to continue improving the guest experience on the mountain. New RFID cards are now required for lift access. When you arrive:
- Stop at a ticketing location before heading to the lifts
- Receive your new RFID card at no charge
- Head out and enjoy your day

Terrain*
Low coverage exists in places with marked and unmarked obstacles. Please stay on open runs and respect all rope lines/trail closures as they are there for your safety.
Snowmaking operations will continue whenever possible to expand terrain and improve coverage. This may include:
- Modified terrain availability
- Snowmaking equipment operating on open runs
- Variable surface conditions in areas where snowmaking is underway
