3/22/26 Conditions Report

10:00 Conditions Update

Good morning skiers and riders,

So much fun out there this morning! The groomed trails at the top of the mountain are looking and skiing great. Stay in that beautiful Mission Ridge sunshine for softer, slightly more edgeable conditions.  The lower mountain is softening up nicely and should offer some fun spring corn very soon! Remember your sunscreen, and dark lenses!

As mentioned earlier, our lift access is slightly expanded as compared to earlier this week, but terrain is still limited and any ungroomed trails are still crunchy. As always, please ski and ride with caution!

6:30 Conditions Report

Good morning skiers and riders,

We dropped into a clear, cold night with temps down around 19, which set the mountain up nicely with a solid overnight freeze. That reset is exactly what we want this time of year, and it is giving us a more consistent surface to start the day.

Today we are looking at mostly sunny skies with a high near 39 and light west winds. Classic spring setup. Expect things to start firm early, then gradually soften as the sun works its way across the slopes.

Lift access is expanding again, which is great news. Chair 1, Chair 2, and Chair 4 to mid station are all scheduled, along with all surface lifts. More terrain, more options, and more room to spread out.

The grooming team really made the most of that melt freeze cycle. Where the snow has been worked, you will find a much more edgeable and predictable surface compared to the firm, untouched areas off trail. As the day warms up, those groomed runs will transition into that fun, carvable spring corn we all look for.

Expect a mix of conditions throughout the day. You will find some firmer sections, some softening snow, and a few textured spots here and there. The best turns will follow the sun, especially on lower elevation runs where things are loosening up first.

Get out early for the smooth corduroy, then chase the sun for softer laps as the day goes on. It is shaping up to be a really enjoyable spring day at Mission Ridge.
