Sunday, funday is off to a beautiful start as we enjoy a stunning sunrise. Clear skies should give way to clouds and a chance of snow in the afternoon today. The groomed runs are looking beautiful as well, with soft turns to be found first thing this morning. Off-piste (off the groomed runs), there are still pockets of powder from the recent storm mixed in with packed powder conditions and areas of low coverage. Make sure to layer up this morning, as temps are on the cooler side but winds are light.
Mission Ridge are excited to welcome the Washington State Special Olympics Winter Games to the mountain again today! You can check out the ski and snowboarding action on Mimi where the Lil’ Bombers Park is, Elip, Upper Chak Chak, and Lower Skookum this weekend. These runs will be closed for the races.
