3/9 Conditions Report

10AM Conditions Report: Well it’s another great day to be on snow! The groomers are perfectly smooth and you’ll have the ability of making nice carves. Off the groomers are softer than expected, but still variable. The higher you go on the mountain you will notice more wind gusts and lower temps. There are some areas on the mountain with flat light, but otherwise the visibility is good. Be prepared for the weather to be dynamic throughout the day. Remember to join us in downtown Wenatchee after you’re done on the slopes for the Rails & Ales event!

Early Morning Report: We woke up to another pretty sunrise here on the mountain, but we’re expecting the clouds to push their way into the area as the day progresses. Today is forecasted to be mostly cloudy with a chance of some snow showers. The temps will be in the mid 20s, but with some gusty winds be ready for it to feel a bit cooler. Mostly soft groomed runs are expected with  off-piste runs being slightly harder and more dynamic.

Skookum is closed today through Monday for the U14 Super-G race series.

Join us today in Wenatchee for Rails & Ales! Before the competition, gather at Centennial Park for a lineup of fun experiences. Test your skills on skis and snowboards, strap into a pair of snowshoes, or take your shot shooting a hockey puck – the park is your playground. After the park, head over to Orondo Street to the Rail Jam for an action-packed, high-energy night of thrilling tricks and stellar stunts. Click here for more event information!
