Mission Ridge 60th anniversary logo with the years 1966–2026

60 Years of Mission Ridge

As summer turns to fall, cooler temps on the mountain remind us that winter will be here before we know it. Along with the usual seasonal excitement of getting back on snow, this winter we get to celebrate 60 years of Mission Ridge!

Mission Ridge first opened on December 3, 1966, with Chairs 1 and 2 and a pair of rope tows in the Squilchuck Basin. Plenty has changed since then; Chair 2 alone has been through a couple of lives, most recently as the Wenatchee Express. But since 1966, Mission Ridge has been a place where first turns become lifelong traditions, powder days become legends, and the last run is never really the end of the day.

To kick off a season of celebrating this place and the people who make it special, we are proud to release our 60th anniversary logo.  The design honors the past while we enjoy each day on the mountain and look forward to an exciting future. You’ll be seeing a lot of it this season.

Here’s to 60 years, and to every crew that’s kept the lifts turning since that first December, and to everyone who’s been a part of our community throughout that time.
