The results are in, and we are officially the Gold winner for Best Ski Hill/Resort in the 2026 Seattle Times Best in the PNW contest! Results were published September 20 in the Sunday edition of the paper. This is our fourth straight year in the top two of that category, and we’re thrilled to finally bring home the top spot for 2026.
The “Best in the PNW” awards recognize the most beloved businesses, destinations, and attractions across the Pacific Northwest. They’re decided by public vote (over a million of them this year, in fact), and that’s what makes this award special to us. Skiers and riders across the PNW had every mountain in the region to pick from, and enough of you voted for us to bring the award home to Wenatchee. Thank you.
We try to run the mountain like every day is somebody’s first day at Mission Ridge, because for somebody it is. That work starts when nobody is around to see, and those are the people who deserve the credit here. Snowmakers running guns through the night. Groomers laying down cord in the dark so first chair finds it clean and velvety. Lift ops out in the cold before the sun clears the eastern horizon. The parking crew, who for a lot of guests is the first person they talk to all day. Patrol, instructors, rental techs, the kitchen. This award is theirs.
It’s yours, too. Whether you live just a couple bends down the road or make the drive from afar to enjoy a weekend on the mountain, this community works because you keep showing up.
