Intro To Freeride

Program Description: The Mission Ridge Intro to Freeride program is a three weekend series of coaching sessions for high level skiers who are seeking to master difficult and varied ungroomed terrain.

This program is available to youth ages 10 through High School who fluidly link parallel turns on black groomed and ungroomed terrain. Participants will have graduated from our Devo program or similar, and are looking for the next challenge, possibly with an eye in participating in our Freeride program next winter. We’ll ski the entire mountain including steep ‘hike to’ terrain, powder, trees, terrain parks, and learn to thrive in variable conditions. We’ll let terrain amplify our experience on the mountain and hone our tactical awareness of opportunities presented by weather, snow conditions, and terrain choice.

Each day consists of 5 hours of coaching (9am - 3pm) with an hour for lunch. Be booted up and ready to roll at 8:45! We’ll see you then!

Ability Levels: Advanced

Ages: 10-17

Time: 9am - 3pm

Price: $289.00

Program Dates:

  • Saturday - 3/12, 3/19, 3/26
  • Sunday -   3/13, 3/20, 3/27
