The lifts may be quiet for now, but the mountain is buzzing with color, energy, and excitement for the winter to come. Fall at The Ridge is unlike anywhere else, with crisp mountain air, golden tamaracks, and events that bring the community together. As anticipation for winter builds, don’t forget to take a look around and appreciate the golden beauty of the changing seasons.
Open Fridays from 4pm–9pm, Saturdays from 11am–9pm, and Sundays from 9am–2pm, the Chair 5 Pub is the perfect spot to savor the season. Warm up with a cozy meal, sip a fall-inspired drink, and soak in views of the Wenatchee Valley framed by blazing tamarack foliage. Walk-ins are encouraged, and reservations are also available.
Autumn exploration is about slowing down and taking it all in. With the tamaracks turning brilliant gold, leaf-peepers will find their happy place on hikes to Lake Clara or the Mission Ridge Summit. Mountain bikers can enjoy cool temps and quiet trails at Upper Mission Ridge, Devils Gulch, and Squilchuck State Park. This is also a photographer’s dream season, whether you’re chasing fall colors, capturing sunsets, or just enjoying the crisp alpine air.
Curious about conditions? Our forecast and webcams will stream live all through the fall. Stay tuned to catch the best of autumn and perhaps even grab a glimpse of the first snowflakes swirling in the chilly breeze.
The mountain comes alive with the Tamarack Festival: three Saturdays of live music, guided hikes, tasty food, kids’ activities, and more. Add in the screening of the new Matchstick Productions film After the Snowfall and our high-energy Pray for Snow concert, and you’ve got plenty of reasons to get stoked about a Mission Ridge fall. Whether you’re here for the golden larches, the music, or the community vibe, fall at Mission Ridge is full of celebration and anticipation for ski season ahead.
During the off-season (May 1 through October 31), public access within the Mission Ridge Special Use Permit area is permitted except where restricted due to maintenance and construction. While we enjoy seeing the Mission Ridge community in the mountains and on the trails year-round, we also want to remind everyone of a couple of things (or as a heads up to those just starting to enjoy exploring this area we call home).
