Burchett Ski & Golf Classic

The 30th Annual Steve Burchett Golf & Ski Classic returns to Mission Ridge on April 20, 2024. Teams of four will compete in an 18-hole golf tournament at Highlander Golf Course in East Wenatchee and a dual slalom race at Mission Ridge followed by dinner and a fundraising event. Team costumes are encouraged with prizes for the best costumes! Since this is the 30th Anniversary, we’re celebrating the 90’s so bust out those pleated golf pants & neon onesies, or maybe a tribute to your favorite hip-hop or grunge artists…be creative and have fun while raising funds to support avalanche education and safety.

Registration

Online registration is now open. New this year, each player should register individually. Just be sure to note your team name. The first 100 people to register before March 31st will receive a 30th Anniversary SBC jacket in their preferred size & color! Be sure to include your size (unisex/men’s sizing) and color choice (blush or graphite) on your registration.

Schedule

• 7:00 am to 7:45 am – Check-in and swag bag pick-up at the Highlander Golf Course
  • All players need to check in individually to sign the event waiver
• 7:45 am to 8:00 am – Player meeting at the Clubhouse
• 8:00 am – Shotgun Start
• 1:00 pm to 2:00 PM – Head toward Mission Ridge
  • You should plan to grab lunch at the golf course or on your way to the Ridge
• 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm – Check-in outside of the Aid Room to pick up your bib and lift ticket
  • Load Chair 4
• 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm – Ski racing on Lower Skookum
  • Each racer does two runs, so please plan to loop back around immediately after your first run
• 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm – Dinner in the Chair 5 Pub
  • Your dinner and drink tickets will be included in your swag bag
• 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm – Awards and raffle in the Chair 5 Pub
