A heartfelt memoir written by a truly inspirational individual can not only be yours, but you can meet the author this Saturday, February 11th. Pat West Turner (who learned to three-track ski the year Mission Ridge opened) survived a near-fatal car accident as a high school senior that resulted in the amputation of her right leg. Pat has never let her disability define her. In this book, she has shared what she went through following the accident and the ways in which she continuously met life with a sense of adventure, personal courage, strength, and perseverance. From 10 am to 3 pm, Pat will be in the lodge signing books which can be purchased in the Retail Shop.
