1/23/21 Conditions Report

Posted on January 23rd, 2021

10 AM Update: Well, it feels like the last few days we've been stuck on repeat, the turns on the groomed runs are still good and the clear valley views are awesome this morning. It is a little colder today, so make sure to bring the proper layers. We recommend sticking to the groomed runs as off-piste conditions are firm and variable.

The weekend is here and we are ready to cruise some corduroy. This week’s theme has been clear, calm, cool, corduroy and we have another day and night on our hands that will perfectly match that description. Sunshine will be soaked in on Saturday but Sunday will bring with it the front edge of the next storm cycle. We recommend sticking to the groomed runs as off-piste conditions are firm and variable and will benefit from a refresh of snow mid-week.

Chairs 1, 3, 4, the Pika Peak Rope Tow, and the 100LAPS Rope Tow are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm today with Chair 1, Chair 4, the Pika Peak Rope Tow, and the 100LAPS Rope Tow Scheduled for operation during Night Skiing from 4 pm - 9 pm.

Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is no inside seating at this time and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

It is important that everyone recognizes that this season is different from any we’ve experienced. It is up to every individual, both ski area employee and guest, to do their part to help protect the health and safety of our skiing and snowboarding community. Our expectation is that each one of us will follow protocols to help keep each other healthy. We ask all employees and guests to share in this responsibility and help us, “be the reason we have a season.”
