Season Pass Sales On Hold Through End Of August

Season Pass sales are currently on hold through August 31st. After that date, a decision will be made regarding re-opening additional pass sales. We are dedicated to providing the best possible on-mountain experience for all our guests this coming season. At this time there some uncertainty about what skiing and snowboarding will look like come November. We are developing plans for a wide range of different situations based on modifications to operations due to COVID-19. In these uncertain times, we want to ensure that all of our guests can feel confident that their commitment will be rewarded with a great experience on the Mountain. With this change to our Season Pass Sale, we are emphasizing our dedication to guest satisfaction and to our community.

Old Chair 2 Carriers On Sale Soon

Have you always wanted a chairlift chair in your back yard? This just might be your chance. Chairs from the old Liberator Express lift will be made available to the public for purchase. We are anticipating a lot of interest in these chairs and are currently developing a plan on how to best go about this. A lot of people have asked us about being put on a waiting list for chair sales but there is not one at this time nor do we anticipate there being one. More info will be coming out soon about the sale so stay tuned in.

Season Pass Sales On Hold

We have been hard at work trying to figure out how to provide the best possible on-mountain experience for all our guests this coming season. At this time there some uncertainty about what skiing and snowboarding will look like come November. A number of resorts are re-opening in the United States, and many others look to open soon in the southern hemisphere, but what operations on the mountain will look like for us in Washington come November is not currently clear. While we are optimistic that skiing and snowboarding will largely resemble what we have experienced in the past (one of our staff Core Values is actually “Optimism In Action”), we are developing plans for a wide range of different situations based on modifications to operations due to COVID-19. In preparing for a range of possible public health measures, and in order to protect the investment of those who have already purchased 2020/21 Season Passes while still providing access for our entire community through day tickets and other options, we will be placing Season Pass sales on hold through August 31st.  Those still interested in purchasing 2020/21 passes can join a waiting list with a $75 down payment until June 30th.

Summer Access Update

With chair construction work ongoing throughout the summer and fall, access for hiking and biking will be slightly modified, especially in the parking lot, at the bottom of Chair 2, and around the Midway Lodge. We ask that everyone coming up to enjoy the mountain please help us with this project by staying out of closed areas and avoiding work zones. Construction will be ongoing, likely seven days a week, and our top priority is keeping everyone safe.

Chair 2 Construction Underway

We are excited to let everyone know that the Chair 2 replacement project is well underway and is scheduled to be completed for the start of the 2020/21 season. This is without a doubt one of the most exciting projects to take place at Mission Ridge in over a decade. The new chair will replace the old Liberator chairlift in the same alignment but will be a dramatic upgrade for skiers and snowboarders. Guests will load and unload the new high-speed, four-person chair inside covered structures and each chair is equipped with plexiglass covers, or bubbles, to improve comfort during inclement weather.

Season Closure Announcement

In light of the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we are announcing that yesterday was the last day of the 2019/20 operating season. We want to thank everyone who enjoyed time on the mountain with us this season. There were many incredible days to enjoy and many more great memories made with friends and families. We especially want to thank our staff and their families for all their hard work, welcoming attitudes and big smiles. Mission Ridge is a special place in large part because of the people who work and play here. If there was ever a weekend to have to end the season on it would have been this last one. It is now time to turn our attention to supporting our community through this difficult time and then towards preparing for exciting additions to the 2020/21 season.
