Open Thursday 12/19 Daily Operations

We've been having so much fun with you that we just couldn't wait till Friday, so, we've decided to open up this Thursday, December 19th with our daily operations schedule. We'll be open this Thursday daily until the end of February from 9 AM - 4 PM. We hope to see you on the mountain.

Parking At Mission Ridge

Mission Ridge is one of Washington's largest Ski Areas at 2,000 acres but we do have limited parking capacity. On weekdays, we usually have plenty of parking available. On weekends and holidays during the winter, however, our parking lots often reach capacity early in the day and we occasionally park guests at off-site parking lots until space in our lots begins to open up again. New snowfall often exacerbates this congestion. To avoid getting stuck in traffic on weekends and holidays, we recommend the following tips:

Opening Day Is Friday!

Who's ready to get this party started?! We are excited to announce that opening day is this Friday, November 29th. Over seven inches of new snow with more in the forecast as well as our extensive snowmaking infrastructure and world class crew, have made a Thanksgiving weekend opening possible for the seventh time in eight years. We will be open Friday through Sunday from 9am-4pm. Check out all the details below and we will see you on the mountain!

Night Skiing Expanded To 3 Nights A Week

Night skiing is about to get bigger and brighter! We are expanding the night lighting system to include an additional 13 acres of terrain with access from Chairs 1 and 4 as well as the Pika Peak and 100LAPS rope tows. Night ski operations will also increase from ten Saturday nights up to thirty-two nights for the 2019/20 winter season. Night Skiing will begin December 26th and run Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights through the end of February from 4 pm to 9 pm.

We are excited to announce that Mission Ridge has joined the Powder Alliance for the 2019/20 winter season. Now spanning 4 countries and 2 hemispheres, the Powder Alliance is one of the world’s most powerful reciprocal season pass programs offering top-tier pass holders three days each at 19 premier winter destinations.

Chair 2 Replacement Project Update

Earlier this spring, we announced the purchase and planned installation of a replacement chairlift for Chair 2, nicknamed The Liberator,  pending United States Forest Service and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife approvals. The replacement chairlift includes upgraded chairs that have more comfortable seats and plexiglass “bubble” covers to enhance the ride experience.

Open 9am-2pm On Final Weekend

The 2018/18 season is winding to a close, but the fun is not over yet! Come celebrate a great season of skiing and snowboarding with us April 27th and 28th for one last weekend on the mountain. All chairs are scheduled for operation both days from 9am-2pm. Our annual season-ending tradition Flamingo Days will also be going down both days, with drink and food specials at Midway, crazy costumes and great prizes during the Flamingo Scavenger Hunt!

Bonus Days Added To April

Thanks to continued high demand for great skiing and snowboarding, fantastic conditions out on the mountain, and a favorable Spring forecast, we are excited to announce the addition of the last two weekends in April to the operational calendar for this season. The Ridge will be open weekends only for the entire month of April with the addition of these 4 operational days

Chair 2 Upgrade Announced

We are excited to announce that we plan to replace Chair 2 (The Liberator) prior to the start of the 2019-2020 season pending approval from the U.S. Forest Service and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
