With the sun shining and hardly a cloud in the sky, SUN-day at Mission Ridge is underway! On the groomed runs the snow is softening rapidly with firm and fast areas lingering in the shade. While off of the groomed runs, surfaces are firm to thin coverage in places and expected to soften as the day continues. Come on up and take advantage of these excellent Spring conditions!
There's plenty of freedom to explore, the sun is bright, and the snow is super fun, what better way to spend your Saturday?! The groomed snow that is in the sun is nice and soft, quickly morphing into playful slush. Spots in the shade are still a bit firm at this time. Dynamic conditions will be found off the groomed trails. Come up and enjoy 360 degree views, pack your sunscreen, and have a great day!
Today the upper elevations of the mountain are featuring fast snow with a mix of some slushy fun. The lower elevation's snow is mostly sugary which is super easy to dig your edges into. Runs that are ungroomed are variable. We've got nice spring temps and beautiful views of the Wenatchee Valley, so come on up and enjoy this great day!
The Sun is shining and the views are spectacular! This morning we are seeing bluebird skies and retro gear all around the mountain. Our first runs were smooth and fast with perfect corduroy and smiles everywhere. As the temperatures rise through the day, you can expect turns to remain fast and firm in the shade while the snow softens in the sun. Grab that sunscreen, your retro gear and get up here for some Spring turns!
The grooming team did an excellent job laying out clean and consistent corduroy for everyone to enjoy! The sun is shining and the retro gear is out which means it's a great day to get some laps in at Mission Ridge! Off the groomed runs has some windblown snow from last night covering firm conditions.
The groomed runs are offering some extra adventure today! Each turn today will take you on a quest through multiple conditions from smooth to sugary. Prepare yourself for firmer conditions on and off the groomed runs as the weather has changed since last week. Even with mostly cloudy skies we are lucky enough to have beautiful views of Mt. Stuart and the Columbia River.
