Sunday 12/18 Forecast Update

I just came in from several runs down the Summit.  The conditions are awesome!  With the increase in temperature the snow has softened up allowing deep buttery turns.  The weather is calm and inviting, a really nice change from the current cold streak!  The bluebird skies overhead mixed with the intense views of the surrounding Cascade Range and the Wenatchee Valley below paint a backdrop Picasso couldn’t capture in his prime.  Lib Technologies is representing on the Mountain today with tons of boards to demo as well as skis.  What are you waiting for?   Let’s Ride! Matt The stage is set for another great day.  The weather looks promising with chance of snow Monday and Tuesday, so keep on doing your snow dancing!  Today expect tight corduroy, crisp turns, and plenty of good times and remember the Holiday Season Schedule is in effect and we are open all week long!   Today’s forecast calling for mostly cloudy skies and a 10 percent chance of snow after 4pm, with a high near 16 degrees.  West wind 6 to 8 mph. Let’s Ride! -Matt

After shredding through the light fluffy pow and carving up the corduroy I’d say it’s going to be hard to get rid of that grin today! Skies are blue and a fresh 2” of new snow underfoot makes for a great way to kick off the Christmas holiday schedule.  So dress warm and come join us for some great skiing and riding today! Sunday 12/11 Forecast

I just came in from the summit.  Visibility is kaleidoscoping from snow flurries to blue skies.  I’m impressed with the snow today.  The increased temperatures are transforming the integrity of the snow keeping more on the slopes in turn providing excellent carving which is  fun and enjoyable.  The character of the mountain is transitioning nicely from early season conditions into the next phase.  Ground cover continues to improve and low temps all week will provide wonderful conditions for the Mission Ridge Snow Making Team.  It’s a great day to be skiing and snowboarding on the 50th Anniversary day!!  Let’s Ride! Matt Fifty years ago to the day, the lifts started spinning for guests at Mission Ridge for the first time. Fifty years later we look back in tremendous appreciation of all the people who have made this wonderful opportunity possible. Mission Ridge is, at its core, a community… a family. We want to thank you for being a part this family and look forward to seeing you on the hill! -Tony
