3/7/2021 Conditions Report

10 AM Update: We picked up about an inch of new snow this morning, making for some softer groomers. The Off-piste (non-groomed) was variable and firmer in steeper sections. It's chiller than it's been the last few days, so bring some layers to be prepared. You may want to start off on Chair 3 or 4 as the vis at the top is challenging until about a 1/4 of the way down, but that is forecasted to burn off later today. The tree runs on Chair 3 (Kiwa, Toketie, and Tillikum), had excellent visibility, so if that layer continues up top this morning, head over to the trees. It is snowing hard as of 6:30 am and just starting to accumulate, the forecast isn't calling for much, so who knows how much it will bring. It is supposed to become mostly sunny by later today with a little colder temps, so the groomers should hold up nicely today. Conditions will vary today based on how the weather pans out, we could see the groomers softening with the sun, getting buried under some new snow, or if it remains cloudy, becoming more variable throughout the day. That's life on a mountain! Look for off-piste to be variable across the mountain today. All Chairs as well as the Pika Peak and 100Laps rope tows are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm.  A 50 percent chance of snow before 11am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 25. West wind 11 to 15 mph. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is limited seating inside and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

3/6/2021 Conditions Report

10 AM Update: The sun is out and it's a beautiful view from the top of the mountain this morning. The groomers are riding great this morning and the conditions become a little firmer around Midway, look for things to soften up as the day goes on and the sun hits the slopes. Off-Piste (non-groomed) runs are firmer and variable. They are calling for it to be sunny later today, so we could have another spring like day on the mountain. There is a trace of new snow out there, expect the groomers to be a little firmer this morning, especially the PM groomed runs, and off-piste (non-groomed) to be firmer and more variable. We are SOLD OUT of Full Day and Late Arrival tickets for today but we still have night tickets available. All Chairs as well as the Pika Peak and 100Laps rope tows are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm. Chair 1, Chair 4, Pika Peak, and 100Laps rope tows are scheduled for night skiing from 4pm-9pm. Full Day Tickets are Sold Out For Saturday, 3/6. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 30. West wind 13 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is limited seating inside and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

3/5/2021 Conditions Report

10 AM Update: The groomers were in great shape this morning and providing some great turns, the off-piste (non-groomed) runs were variable and firmer. The wind is picking up on the top of the mountain, we will be monitoring that throughout the day, and it could potentially impact the Wenatchee Express operations today. We are looking forward to yet another beautiful day on the mountain. Expect the mornings conditions to start nice and firm. With a predicted mostly cloudy day the conditions should stay more consistent into the later part of the morning. As the day progresses and temperatures rise we expect to see runs soften up. All Chairs as well as the Pika Peak and 100Laps rope tows are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm. Chair 1, Chair 4, Pika Peak, and 100Laps rope tows are scheduled for night skiing from 4pm-9pm. Full Day Tickets are Sold Out For Saturday, 3/6. 3/4/21 Conditions Report

10 AM Update: The groomers were providing smooth turns this morning, the cloud coverage is providing some cool scenic views, and off-piste (non-groomed) was variable to firmer. The sun hasn't quite poked through yet as forecasted, and it's currently a little more overcast than predicted. The temps are still rising without the sun out in full force, so the firmer surfaces this morning should still become softer, spring-like conditions this afternoon. It almost feels like it's time to bust out a t-shirt, get some sunscreen, and relax on the Jim Jack Sundeck in between runs. The forecast is calling for mostly sunny, with high temps near 34 at the top and 45 at the base, look for firmer surfaces in the morning, becoming softer, spring-like conditions in the afternoon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 34. South wind 8 to 13 mph. Chair 1, The Wenatchee Express, Chair 3, as well as the Pika Peak rope tow and 100Laps rope tow are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm. Chair 4 does not operate Monday-Thursday. Full Day Tickets are Sold Out For Saturday, 3/6. Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is limited seating inside and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

3/3/21 Conditions Report

10 AM Update: The morning groomed runs were quick and holding a good edge. The off-piste (non-groomed) runs were firmer and variable. Look for the conditions to become more variable as the day goes on, as the spots in the sun will soften up, and the shaded parts could remain firm. The sun is out, and you can currently see all the mountains and spectacular views from the top. Early Morning Report: Get out your sunscreen, it's looking like it's going to be a spring skiing type of day. We aren't quite to t-shirt weather though, as the temps will range between 35 degrees at the summit and 46 degrees in the Base Area. Look for firmer surfaces in the morning, becoming softer, spring-like conditions in the afternoon. Chase the sun across the mountain to find those sun-kissed groomers that will provide the best turns.   Sunny, with a high near 35. South wind around 10 mph. Chair 1, Wenatchee Express, Chair 3, as well as the Pika Peak rope tow are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm. The 100LAPS rope tow will be closed to start the day but should open after the finishing touches are put on the new park build. Chair 4 does not operate Monday-Thursday. Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is limited seating inside and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

3/2/21 Conditions Report

9 am Report - Contrary to the forecast, clouds have blown in this morning and we are sitting under cloudy skies. While at least for now we won't see as much sun as expected, the cloud cover will keep surfaces more consistent over the course of the morning. An early morning run down Skookum was fast and firm but not too firm. AM groomed runs are softer and hold a better edge. Conditions will vary today based on whether or not we see more of the sun. See you on the mountain! Mostly sunny, with a high near 29. West wind 14 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chair 1, Wenatchee Express, Chair 3, as well as the Pika Peak rope tow are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm. The 100LAPS rope tow will close today and tomorrow for a full rebuild. Chair 4 does not operate Monday-Thursday. Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is limited seating inside and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

3/1/2021 Conditions Report

9:30 am Update - It is a stunning morning on the mountain. A run down Bomber Bowl off of the Wenatchee Express has me ready for many more! Groomed runs are in top shape. Off-piste (non-groomed) conditions are variable but there are still pockets of softer snow out there to be found. Surfaces that get the most sun will soften up over the course of the morning. Follow the sun across the mountain to find the best turns. 2/28/2021 Conditions Report

We have the makings for a special day on the mountain. Look for the groomers to be in great shape this morning and off-piste (non-groomed) to be more variable, especially the steeper stuff and as you move closer towards the base area. The base area should feel like a spring day, with sunny skies and temps near 40, while the top of the mountain should provide some excellent views and good turns as the temps shouldn't be over 30. It'd be a good day to get your favorite beverage from the Taco Shack and enjoy it on the Jim Jack Sundeck while taking in some vitamin D. All Full-Day tickets for today, Sunday, Feb. 28th are SOLD OUT and there is a very limited quantity of Late Arrival left.  All Chairs as well as the Pika Peak and 100Laps rope tows are scheduled for operation from 9 am to 4 pm.  Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is limited seating inside and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.
