Today's forecast promises a little snow at higher elevations and a little mixed precip at lower elevations. I would anticipate breezy conditions at the summit

Falling temps is a double edged sword for us in this case: it's bringing back seasonable wintry conditions and allowing the potential for snow accumulation, but it also means the that the soft, wet snow is likely to firm up as the night progresses.

On my drive up the mountain this morning I saw rain coming down, and as I parked at the base it was evident that we have received a significant amount of rain across the mountain.

Today we've experienced a warmer-than-seasonable day with some fog and a bit of light mist on the mountain. This has kept snow quality damp and heavy but (at least on groomed runs) mostly soft and easy to put an edge into.

After a week of high pressure and blue skies, we're happy to welcome in a bit of new snowfall! As we've moved into the early hours of this morning, we've seen a continued active weather pattern with temps rising toward right around the freezing mark.

Day 1 of 2026 has brought us light snowfall throughout the day that's summed to around an inch above Midway & a solid dusting in the Base Area. This is keeping conditions fun & fresh, but variable, as we head into Night Skiing!
