Thursday 2/9/2017 Forecast

Mother nature left us another 7” of snow in the last 24hours, however, warm temperatures have affected the integrity of the snow making it  variable across the mountain. Groomers are crisp and firm at the summit and soften up as you descend the slopes, I found Kiwa to be soft and fun underfoot. Off piste conditions are heavy with a layer of crust on top. It’s windy at the summit with moderate visibility and mild temps, windshield wipers are a good option as it’s  snow/raining. On the bright side, a day on the mountain is always better than a day in the valley! And, that is exactly why we are bringing the mountain to town this Friday night, so come enjoy an epic evening of urban action at the Rails and Ales event! See you out there, -Skier Amy
