Monday 1/9 Forecast

We’ve received 5 inches of new snow in 24 hours!  Monday Funday in full effect.  There is a slight chance of snow showers, mainly before 11am, we’ll keep our fingers crossed.  Cold Winter temps continue so dress accordingly today.  The winter storm warning has passed but there is still snow in the forecast through Tuesday we are hoping for the best.  Is there a better way to kick off the work week than fresh dry powder at Mission Ridge?  I don’t think so! Let’s Ride -Matt

I’m fresh in from a few runs down the Summit.  The corduroy is outstanding and I found a few stashes of new snow.  Visibility is moderate at the Summit increasing to good as you descend.  Windy Ridge is currently on Standby due to visibility and will open conditions permitting.  The snow was falling earlier and we are hoping there is more to come!  Let’s Ride -Matt

We might remember that one for a while...

How do you describe a day like today? Words don't seem to really be able to do it. I think the story of today is told on the still smiling faces, felt in the extremely tired legs, shared in the fist bumps, high fives, pole clacks, and bear hugs.  It is a story that will live on forever in the memories of those who experienced it and  the photos and videos left behind. I am tired...the absolutely best kind of tired. The weird kind of sore and tired that makes you feel good because it reminds you of the truly amazing day you just had. Thanks to all for their patience and understanding today. The Mission Ridge family and new friends we made today are the best. Thank you. Let’s get some rest and be ready to get back after it on Thursday! See you on the hill, -Tony *Photo by Scott Ptolemy
