Temperatures remained well above freezing overnight, and we’re starting the day with a much more spring-like feel across the mountain. As a result, surface conditions are expected to be soft, wet, and on the slower side today.

Temperatures rose overnight following an incredible stretch of snowfall over the past week, and conditions this morning are hovering right around the freezing mark across the mountain. After nearly three feet of snow during the recent storm cycle, there is still plenty of softer snow and packed powder conditions to enjoy out there today.

The Friday and Saturday storms brought us plenty of new snow to enjoy. Earlier snowfall landed on a thinner base, but the good news is that the traffic over the past day has helped pack that snow down across the mountain.

It snowed steadily last night until about 9 PM, adding roughly 4 inches of new snow to the mountain after closing time.

Another overnight dump has brought us 9” of new snow since closing time yesterday, adding up to 23” in the last 48 hours!

High winds continued overnight and into this morning, bringing gusts into the 80s at the summit. Chair 2, Chair 3, and Chair 4 will start the day on hold due to wind.
