After a slight warm up, temperatures are starting to drop below freezing overnight but still coming up to that comfortable range during daylight hours. Expect sun tempered by a few clouds for some gorgeous glowy slopes and 360 degree views from the summit. Yesterday’s  smooth granular snow should groom well, but off-piste may have firmed up more from the below freezing temps overnight.

After several days of spring-like conditions, winter made a return yesterday afternoon. We received 1″ of new snow in the last 24 hours and temperatures are much cooler than we’ve seen for a bit. The shot of new snow should mix in nicely to the groomed runs making for even sweeter corduroy. The firmness of the groomed runs will vary based on whether they were groomed on the “PM” shift, between 5 pm and midnight last night, or the “AM” shift, between midnight and opening this morning. For the softest groomed conditions, hit up the AM groomed runs first thing today. Conditions off-piste (off the groomed runs) will vary but are generally firm with a light dusting of new snow on top. For the full grooming report, click here. Temperatures look to warm up again to just above freezing level making for some corduroy cruising fun in the sun.
