skier skiing powder under blue sky

Saturday 2/24 Forecast

9:30am Update: Sun's out, bluebird sky, and the snow consistency is light and wonderful. Based on my first hand experience this morning, I think 2" was an understatement. Have a super POW day! 6am Report: 2" of snow overnight and it's expected to continue to snow throughout the morning. The wind has been swirling the new snow around the mountain, so expect to find deeper accumulation in places. Temperatures are rising out of the single-digits today, with a chance of blue skies this afternoon, making for excellent conditions for a day on the hill. Tonight we'll have night skiing starting at 4pm, the Twilight Snowshoe Trek at 4:30 and the last installment of the Mountain Music Series, featuring The Staxx Brothers, beginning at 6:30 in the Hampton Lodge. I'm excited for a great day of riding and fun at the Ridge!  -Kai

Friday 2/23 Forecast

10:30am Update: Fantastic snow conditions on the hill lately and today is no different. The groomed surfaces are top notch and there's a lot of corduroy available so spread out and carve it up. Off-piste the skiing is becoming a bit variable in places, but I was still able to find soft turns in the trees this morning. The clouds have rolled in earlier than expected, so despite a slight warming trend, it's still chilly on the hill today, be sure to layer accordingly. 6am Report: We're looking forward to another day of blue sky overhead and soft snow underfoot. Calm winds and clear skies this morning should allow the sun's rays to warm us as we carve up the groomers and seek out the remaining pow stashes. Clouds are expected to roll in this afternoon, bringing a chance of new snow for the weekend. -Kai
