4/4/21 Conditions Report

10 AM Update: We think the adults are having more fun with Tour De Blues than the kids! The groomers are quick and firmer than they have been the past few days. If you are looking for softer groomers, head over to the Bomber Bowl runs as they were riding/skiing good this morning. Off-Piste (non-groomed runs) are firm and variable. Sunday is here and it will be full of fun and events out on the mountain. While we are seeing a couple more clouds in the sky this morning, those should break up with the sun coming out later in the afternoon. Temps will be a little cooler today than the last few days so you can expect firmer surface conditions to stay more consistent throughout the day. It is also looking to be a little breezier today at the top of the mountain. We have two great events to enjoy today with an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids and Tour de Blues for the entire family!  Forecast - Mostly cloudy, with a temperature rising to near 31 by 8am, then falling to around 26 during the remainder of the day. Windy, with a west wind 21 to 26 mph decreasing to 13 to 18 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.

4/3/21 Conditions Report

10 AM Update: The groomed runs are skiing/riding excellent this morning, and off-piste (non-groomed) is firmer and more variable but should soften up as the day goes on. If you are looking for a fun way to experience the mountain, join in on Tour De Blues and explore all the blue square runs! The spring conditions don't get any better than what we are currently seeing out on the mountain. We are going to enjoy another warm day with tons of sun and little wind. Looking for surface conditions to start out the day firmer and for them to become more variable and spring-like over the course of the day. Follow the sun across the mountain starting at Bomber Bowl this morning to find the best turns. Not only are we going to enjoy another great weekend up on The Ridge, April 17th, 18th, 24th, and 25th have been added to the calendar so you can enjoy spring laps every weekend this month to finish off the season! Forecast - Partly sunny, with a high near 40. West wind 7 to 9 mph.

4/2/2021 Conditions Report

10 AM Update: The sun is shining, and the groomed runs are riding/skiing great this morning. It's definitely quicker towards the top and starting to soften up around Midway. We have the makings for a stellar spring ski day on our hands. Off-piste is variable across the mountain and should soften up as the day goes on. We are looking forward to yet another beautiful day at the Ridge full of sunshine and blue skies. Groomed runs will be fast and firm to start the morning and are expected to soften up as the sun dances across the mountain. Off-piste (non-groomed) terrain will be variable. 4/01/21 Conditions Report

10 AM Update: The groomers are still riding/skiing awesome this morning, and it might feel like you have the run to yourself. A huge shout out to our grooming staff that has been laying down fantastic corduroy all season long. Off-piste towards the top, you might find some good little pockets still, but things become more variable off-piste as you work your way down the mountain. The sun isn't out yet, as forecasted, but it looks like it's trying to break through, and the snow is already softer around Midway. It looks like we have another sunny spring day on our hands. Look for the groomers to be quick and a bit firmer this morning and begin to start softening up as the day goes on. Off-piste (non-groomed) terrain will be variable across the mountain. Season Passes for the 2021/22 season go on sale today, April 1st. Pass details and pricing are available on our website. Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is limited seating inside and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces.

3/31/21 Conditions Report

10 AM Update: It's hard to believe how good the snow is up on the top section of the mountain. The groomers are riding/skiing great this morning and should hold all day. There are still some stashes here and there off-piste, but it is more variable across the mountain. It's a beautiful day for views, getting some sunshine, and fresh air. We have the makings for a repeat of yesterday, which isn't a bad thing. Don't forget your sunscreen so you can enjoy the sunshine and excellent groomed runs throughout the day. Off-piste (non-groomed) terrain will be variable around the mountain. Expect to find some deposits of wind-blown snow in areas and scouring in others. The more adventurous are likely to still find some good pow turns as they were still there for the taking yesterday. Season Passes for the 2021/22 season will go on sale April 1st. Current Mission Ridge Premier, Core Value, Midweek, and Twilight Passholders will be able to purchase next year’s pass at a discounted price during a special renewal sale March 29th through the 31st. Noon Parking Update - Base Area parking lots are full. Shuttles are running from the auxiliary parking lots located down Mission Ridge Rd from the resort. We ask drivers to drop off passengers at a designated location in the front section of our main parking lot between Chair 1 and Chair 4. Once passengers are dropped off, drivers will park as directed by our Parking Staff in the auxiliary parking lots and be shuttled back up to the resort. Parking in the auxiliary lots and using the shuttle service is optional, but once the main Base Area lots are full, this will be the only option available other than returning to the mountain on a different day. Shuttle capacity will be limited with socially distanced seating enforced. Shuttle drivers and passengers will be required to wear a face-covering at all times without exception. Shuttle windows will also be left open. Early Morning Report - It's Saturday and we are set up for another gorgeous day on the mountain! Start your weekend off right and rip some turns on some pristinely groomed runs under mostly sunny skies. There is little to no wind in the forecast to boot making for great conditions no matter which way you cut it. Forecast - Mostly sunny, with a high near 39. Northwest wind 5 to 11 mph. Please make sure to dress appropriately for the conditions and remember that we are asking that everyone use their car as their base camp as there is limited seating inside and capacity restrictions are in place for all inside spaces. It is important that everyone recognizes that this season is different from any we’ve experienced. It is up to every individual, both ski area employee and guest, to do their part to help protect the health and safety of our skiing and snowboarding community. Our expectation is that each one of us will follow protocols to help keep each other healthy. We ask all employees and guests to share in this responsibility and help us, “be the reason we have a season.” COVID Info
