Thursday 4/13 Forecast

10:45am Update: Chair 2 will be under a mechanical closure for the remainder of the day. Chairs 1 and 3 as well as both rope tows will be in operation. Powder shredding in the middle of April, anyone? Yes, Please!!! The summit has received 4” overnight and 8” in the last 24hrs! The Mid basin received 2" overnight and, although it isn’t super light and fluffy like we are used to, the surface conditions are a lot of fun! The upper and Mid basins have a sufficient layer of pow atop the cords, and those who got up early to get fresh tracks with me will most likely agree that today is a good day to be on the slopes! Fluctuating temps over the last couple of days have caused variable surface conditions in some places, so board and ski smart! The forecast is calling for potential snow, up to one inch possible during the day, with partly sunny skies and breezy at the summit. Don’t forget we have discounted lessons at the Ski School today through Sunday as well! So if you're wanting some pointers on how to get to that next level on your skis or board, now’s a great time to sign up for a lesson! See you out there, -Skier Amy

Calm, bluebird skies and epic views to frame every turn and burn you make, and with only a few more weeks left of the season it’s time to make the most of our awesome playground while you can! Cooler temps overnight have created a thaw-freeze effect, which means surface conditions are firm and fast this morning and will soften up areas as the day goes on! We have plenty of groomed runs to keep you entertained all day! Be mindful that off-piste sliding may be challenging with the variable surface conditions. And, don’t forget we have discounted lessons at the Ski School today and next Thursday through Sunday as well!
