Thanks to our snowmakers grinding down to the wire, we are able to spin the first chairlift in Washington of the 2025/2026 season for a limited opening! Conditions may be softer on top and firmer toward the base, with scattered precip across the mountain.
I was lucky enough to enjoy a pre-season test run this morning. The hard work of our mountain operations teams has certainly paid off, with smooth cords on Sunspot and Tumwater contrasting sharply with thin coverage elsewhere.
We are thrilled to share that the 2025/26 season at Mission Ridge will officially kick off on Thursday, December 4th!
It was a great weekend for snowmaking production with chilly temps across all elevations that allowed guns to run nonstop. Last night, lows were in the teens, and those piles stacked quickly all across the mountain.
Better late than never! We finally got our first major snowfall of November yesterday, with 4 inches of new snow overnight on the upper mountain and 7 inches in the last 24 hours.
We will target Friday, December 5th, as the new Opening Day for the 2025/26 winter season, conditions permitting. This weekend, we will shift toward providing a stellar mountainside dining experience at the Chair 5 Pub.Â
