10 AM Update: The groomed runs were excellent this morning, and the snow feels great under the board. Make sure to layer up as it is chilly up top, especially if your body is not acclimated to winter weather yet like this guy. It should be a good day to cruise the mountain. If you choose to adventure off-piste, please use caution as pre-season conditions still exist.
It's shaping up to be another great day on the mountain. The temps were cold, and the wind was mild last night, meaning the AM groomed runs should be riding fantastic this morning. The 13" we've had over the last 48 hours has started to fill in the mountain and the open runs have been riding great. Make sure to layer up today, as we are looking at a high of 18 degrees at the base. I expect the runs to hold up well all day with the cold temps, as they were still riding really good late afternoon yesterday. If you are going to adventure off-piste, use caution, as low snow and early-season condition still exist.
Early season conditions will exist. Low snow and difficult conditions are present. Please stay on open runs and respect all rope lines/trail closures as they are there for your safety.
Forecast:
Patchy freezing fog after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 18. West wind around 6 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
