Opening Day 2020/21 Announced

Posted on November 24th, 2020

We are excited to announce that opening day of the 2020/21 season will be this Friday, November 27th!

This year’s opening marks the eighth time in nine years that we have opened by the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The 2020/21 season will kick off with a limited opening Friday through Sunday from 9am-4pm with Chair 1 and the Pika Peak Rope Tow scheduled for operation. Additional chairlifts and terrain will open for the season as conditions permit. For more details on opening weekend, please see the details below, visit our COVID Info Page, and check the Snow Report Page each day prior to your visit.

This winter season will be unlike any other and we are asking for your help to, “be the reason we have a season” and do your part to help protect the health and safety of our community by following our Ski Well, Be Well guidelines.

Some of the modifications to our operations for this season include: the use of masks when not actively skiing and snowboarding, social distancing at all times including in chair lift lines and the lifts, new grab and go food and beverage options at new locations across the mountain, and online lift ticket purchasing and cashless sales when at the mountain this season. Single-day tickets for the season will be sold but guests are asked to purchase online, in advance of the day they want to ski, as ticket availability may be limited during peak weekends and holidays.
